Last night I got a craving for okonomiyaki, so Kin and I grabbed dinner together \u266a
\nI really hate going out to eat and having to wait for a table, so I always make a reservation ahead of time.
\nI called the place in Nakameguro and got “We’re relocating, so we’re not taking calls right now.”
\nOh no!
\nWell, time to explore somewhere new! How about Ebisu? \u2605
\nI saw something on TV about “fluffy and melty” something-or-other, so I called them! (9:30 PM)
\nHello? Can you get us a table for two right now???
\nOne moment please! …Hello? The earliest we can seat you is at 11 PM!
\nNo way??? Well, maybe next time\u2014I hung up pretty quick and started searching online.
\nBottaya? Hey, this place has a great name! http:\/\/www.g-gyao.jp\/s\/0002149104\/top\/ Decision made!
\nWe got a table without any trouble and I’m happy. When we arrived, the spacing from the neighboring tables was nice and wide\u2014really comfortable!
\nThe food was great too, really nice.
\nWhat’s amazing is not just that they make it right in front of you, but they squirt the sauce from way up high.
\nMayonnaise too!
\nIt’s seriously like art!

\nBottaya okonomiyaki, Shanghai-style yakisoba, garlic-fried octopus, and Caesar salad
