Well, well\u2014I was sleepy and thanks to the poor weather over the weekend, Decoboco wasn’t very crowded either \u266a
\nPrince took a while to get back, so we were a bit late, but we managed to leave the shop by around 8 o’clock.
\nI was wondering what to have for dinner, so I hopped on my scooter and headed down Komazawa Avenue.
\nLet’s head to Nakameguro for now\u2014it’s cold and I’m sleepy, so “Pukupuka” http:\/\/gourmet.yahoo.co.jp\/000
\nIf 0830148\/P060688\/ is open, I’ll grab something and head home! Or so I thought… but it was closed after all.
\nSo I figured I’d just make something at “Presse” http:\/\/www.tokyu-store.co.jp\/precce\/\u3078
\nOh right, I need to make a “TOP Card” cash card (it costs 100 yen).
\nYou fill out an application form at the counter and they give it to you on the spot \u2606
\nWith this, you get 1 point for every 200 yen spent. Why would they suddenly introduce something like this?
\nWhen I shop at Tokyu-affiliated stores (and other places too), I pretty much always use a card.
\nRakuten gives 1% of the purchase amount (1 point per 100 yen)\u2014it seems like it’ll take forever\u2014but utilities (except water) and
\ngas, shopping, and highway tolls all earn points, so thousands of yen worth accumulates quickly.
\nAnyway, when I shop at Tokyu and pay with my “Rakuten Card,” they always ask me, “Do you have a cash card?”
\nI kept getting asked this and had no idea what they meant.
\nHmm? Wait, wait, wait! Oh, I get it now! This is double points! \u266a
\nShop at Tokyu-affiliated stores! Pay with your Rakuten Card (earn 1%)! And also use the TOP cash card
\n(earn 0.5%)\u2014so you get points from Rakuten and also from the TOP card \u2606
\nOnce you incorporate card payments into your daily life, points accumulate automatically, you see.
\nYou can pull up your purchase history right away too\u2014very convenient!
\nAfter finishing dinner and washing the dishes, I was lounging around listening to Michelle again, but lately
\nI’ve been on a heavy rotation of Sabrina Heaven & No Heaven \u266a As I was going “Ahhh, ahhh” in my floor chair,
\na cat that’s not my cat meowed its way into my house!
\nWell, it’s a neighborhood cat I know\u2014I feed it sometimes and we’ve gotten a bit friendly. This one probably hurt its
\nleg in an accident, so it runs a little slow \u2606 And since we have a guest!
\nI’ll give it something! Two dried sardines \u2606 Even my own cat only gets two a day, so two in one meal is pretty fancy for this guy…
\nThat’s what I was thinking as I handed them over!
\nIt meowed again, but the thing is, its voice isn’t cute\u2014which is actually nice! It’s probably female, but its voice is deep…
\nI’ll give it some more! A little cat food too… but it’s wary, so I headed off to take a bath.
\nToday I soaked in the tub with MOTO GP! I was absorbed looking at photos of the 2006 M1 from Bikers Station,
\ngoing “Ohhh, ohhh,” and then\u2014phew! All refreshed \u266a
\nThe guest? It left the cat food behind…
\nWhat is this thing? Seriously annoying.
\nMonday’s an inspection too! Ugh, I hate March inspections\u2014they’re so crowded!
