I’m grateful for such an incredibly warm day\u266a So then\u2026
\nToday we’ve got two inspections! This is rough! I’d like to push one to tomorrow, but if it fails, that’d be a real problem, so
\nI’m doing both today!
\nOne is an RF900\u2014that one passed without any issues\u266a Happy days=
\nNext is the problematic DR400! I already knew this one would fail the Shinagawa inspection due to insufficient light output\u2026
\nSo I added wiring to run the high beam directly from the battery and installed a switch! This should work!
\nOff to the testing station\u2026 “The light axis won’t align at all!” Whoa, whoa, whoa!
\nCan we get it to go a bit more to the right? “We’ll have to turn the handlebars!” And\u2026 seriously?
\nThe alignment line cleared fine, but the headlight\u2014the problem one\u2014hmm, hmm\u2026 “X” mark.
\nOh no! This is bad, bad!
\nI turn the handlebars back a bit\u2026 hmm, hmm\u2026 “\u2713” mark! Yeah!
\nWe finished up successfully! After that we handled the title transfer and made it back to the shop safely~
