Part three wraps this up. Let me finish this quickly.
\nStarting around 8 a.m., the two of them\u2014Bancho and King\u2014were bustling around.
\nThey said they were heading to the bath, and when I woke up from my second nap, they were already dressed.
\nBancho said he was going up the mountain to check on the rear suspension adjustment.
\nKing said he was going to check out the mountain conditions and locate the gas station.
\nSeriously? I soaked in the hot spring again and washed my bedhead hair. A morning bath is the best! \u266a
\nWe headed up the Tsubaki Line to Daikanyama. There were lots of touring groups around (I guess we’re one too?).
\nWith King leading, it felt really powerful! \u266a We arrived, and met up with another bike.
\nFrom there we headed toward the Izu Skyline. The road was pretty open and quite nice.
\nAn oncoming car flashed its lights! Looks like there’s a speed trap ahead. A 50 kph zone and a 40 kph zone.
\nApparently they were running it in the 40 kph zone! With that long straight section, people who open it up are probably hitting over 200 kph,
\nso they’d get busted right away. Scary stuff.
\nWe arrived safely and it was lunchtime. The boss and I had the same idea\u2014we decided to eat fish in Yugawara.
\nFishing! At a managed fishing pond. After wandering around for 20 minutes, we finally made it.
\nWe each paid 3,400 yen and started fishing. It was a total catch! The hungry trout were biting like crazy.
\nIt wasn’t really fishing anymore. But it was fun! King has joined Decoboco’s fishing club as a member,
\nso I’ll be bringing him along on fishing trips from now on.
\nHe caught some really nice ones! We named him Fish King.
\nWe pulled up over 50 fish and went crazy. Everyone’s got a minimum quota of four fish, we said while eating until we were stuffed!
\nStill, about 20 were left over, so I took them home! I grilled and ate them at home too!
\nDelicious! Fish really is tasty!
\nWe wanted to get back before dark, but it was already getting dark on Route 1, so we drove safely back to the shop.
\nWe washed the bike that had fish broth dripping off it and called it a day.
