Yesterday was so hot, just scorching\u2014it was brutal!<br \/>\nSo what&#8217;s on the menu today? A ZRX1100 with over 20,000 miles on it, and the owner has never adjusted the valve clearance.<br \/>\nNow that&#8217;s dedication! The clearances were way off, and fortunately the shim size matched the final oil-cooled model, so we made it work!<br \/>\nWe wrapped it up quick, but we&#8217;re missing a gasket, so we&#8217;ll have to carry this over to tomorrow or later.<br \/>\nThe chain is slack and stretched out. Just like the engine, the whole bike needs a proper maintenance!<br \/>\nPush-starting it is going to be so much easier now\u2014that alone makes me happy!<br \/>\nBy the way, our recommended chain oil (CPOR) at 3,000 yen is a pain to apply!
