It’s been nearly two months since the oil-cooled Katana came in. I feel terrible about how long it’s taking.
\nBut given how bad the condition is, I think it can’t be helped.
\nA heavy bike that needs to be pushed by hand is proof of poor maintenance! It’s really heavy!

\nThere’s no way you could enjoy riding it like this, so I took it apart\u2026
\nIt’s pitch black. The races have clear grooves, and there’s discoloration from heat\u2026
\nThe fork was upgraded to 43mm diameter and the handlebar stopper was argon welded, but it was never replaced after welding.

\nFor now I swapped it out for ball bearings and got smooth handling back! That’s the ticket.
