\nSo I went to O-East for the first time in a while.
\nThis place is surprisingly spacious\u2014not too cramped, not too wide\u2014it’s just right!
\nEven from the very back, you get a view like you’re in the front-middle rows, and it’s wide too! Nice\u266a
\nJa-ja-ja-jan~\u266a Birthday, Birthday… some song plays and they take the stage!
\nShort-haired Chiba! Woooah, everyone surges forward and the crowd instantly fills the front row…
\nThis Birthday show featured songs from a pre-release live (only three songs were released at music stores).
\nSo my head was completely blank.
\nI don’t know this song! Oh, I love this one\u2014Chiba really is great at building up the energy!
\nI was impressed the whole time.
\nUnlike the aggressive vibe of Mich\u00e8le or the different feel of Rosso, Chiba unleashed a whole new dimension!
\nFor some reason, whenever I go to a live show, there’s always a weird person near me… If it’s people in black going wild,
\nthat’s totally fine, but last night…
\nThere was a heavyset woman doing something like a Johnny’s concert move (I’m just imagining), with her elbows as the pivot point, swinging her arms back and forth.
\nHer index fingers were up, going “yeah, yeah, yeah,” but not really jumping or moving to the beat…

\nRight in front of me, about my height, with frizzy hair, round glasses, and giving off a weird body odor vibe…
\nHe was going “uh-uh, uh-uh!” You know what I mean? Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh.
\nAnd he kept looking around nervously\u2014like he was aware that he was the one bobbing his head and going “uh-uh-uh”
\nor something. He was a strange guy. Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh.
\nAnd next!
\nA woman with a long skirt and long hair came from the back toward the front, did a “yeah!” in front of me, and I thought she’d settle down,
\nbut then she pushed into the front row, tied a Birthday towel around her hair, and went wild with joy.
\nAh, so everyone who likes rock gets like this, huh?
