Yesterday the weather was nice, so I took the day off. Since I haven’t visited the grave yet, I bought some cleaning supplies
\nand headed to Yotokuji Temple. I purchased flowers and incense and went to the grave\u2026
\nAs expected, it was overgrown with weeds\u2026 Really overgrown, so I pulled everything out by the roots!
\nIt looks much cleaner now, and next I washed the gravestone. I scrubbed it with a brush, and I got pretty into it
\nand spent quite a bit of time washing it. After making offerings, I bought flowers for the home altar in Nakameguro and headed back.
\nAfter that I headed to Shibuya for the first time in a while and browsed Tower Records to pick up some new music.
\nNext month ROOSO and Benjee are both releasing CDs, so I figured I’d spend a little money on CDs.
\nI bought a CD for the first time in a while! MIDNIGHT BANKROBBERS’ “Winter Pinocchio.”
\nTRIPPIN' ELEPHANT RECORDS CDs are pretty rare\u2014I’ve only seen ones by Michel and Rosso\u2014and apparently all the lyrics on this one are by Chiba, so
\nI had to buy it since it probably won’t be available for rental.
\nThen I wandered around a bookstore and Hands, and headed to Roppongi to grab some udon.
\nThe udon here is delicious! Plus the shop is clean and perfect.
\nAfter eating, I headed to a fishing pond in Ichigaya. I didn’t catch anything! Seriously frustrating\u2026
\nThere are salarymen fishing while they’re supposed to be working. Do they really want to fish that badly that they’d skip work?
\nThere are plenty of idiots. They’re throwing bait everywhere\u2014it’s really annoying. With how bad the fishing was, I left pretty quick
\nand took off. “There’s no fish here!” you say while casting your line\u2014if it were that easy, nobody would struggle!
\nI caught 4 fish total\u2026 One of my crew had a birthday, so my phone kept ringing.
\n“Where are you?” “I want to eat!”\u2026 Well, we all ended up celebrating together.
