I use convenience stores pretty often. I usually go to the Seven-Eleven rather than the nearby Sunkus, but\u2026
\nStanding in line at the register is always such a drag! And you know what really gets me? When the person in front is slow, it drives me crazy.
\nFor example, let’s say someone buys six items without using a basket\u2026 Even if they just show the barcode for one or two items, the transaction could finish a second or
\ntwo seconds faster. But most people don’t do that, I guess\u2026
\nAnyway, that’s not the real problem! Then the cashier says, “That’ll be 1,257 yen!” but\u2026
\nThe customer hands over 2,000 yen and after paying, they’re like, “Oh, I had 7 yen!” What kind of idiot does that?
\nAnd then the cashier, who’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, starts fumbling around\u2014fumbling around\u2014when even an elementary school kid could do the math in their head!
\nAnd the customer’s like, “It’s 750 yen!” That’s how it goes!
\nAnd to top it off, they have the cashier heat up their bento box, then just leave their shopping bag sitting on the register counter!
\n“Um, excuse me, what are your hands for, exactly?”
\nAnd then they complain, “Oh, there’s no spoon!” Check before you get your bento, you dummy!
\nThere are tons of people like this in the world! The saying “observe others’ mistakes and correct your own” really hits home\u2026
