ETC 2.0 is confusing. It’s not necessarily new.
Even with ETC 2.0, there are models that don’t meet the radio frequency standards.

I tightened it together with the handlebar clamp bolt.
I also mounted the GPS antenna for the dash cam at the same time.

I think it’s best when it doesn’t look like an aftermarket addition, looks clean, and has good serviceability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is clutch adjustment? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The original clutch holder can only adjust the cable free play.
In other words:
Move the lever closer = clutch engagement point moves closer
Move the lever farther = clutch engagement point moves farther <\/strong>

That’s how it works. Additionally, if you move it closer, the clutch might not fully disengage.
Ideally, the lever should be positioned where you can apply force, fully disengage the clutch,
and adjust the engagement point to your preference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I happened to have a Kawasaki OEM clutch holder (a customer’s discarded part) on hand, so I’ll give it to you.
Just swapping it in allows you to adjust the lever position, so it’s very effective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can adjust it from 1 to 5, and the lever position changes as shown in the image.
It’s best to position it where you can apply force. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this holder, you can change the lever position
and adjust the clutch cable free play (changing the clutch engagement point).

If the clutch isn’t disengaging fully,
you can “reduce free play and move the lever closer,” <\/strong>giving you flexibility. That’s nice.

With higher-end options like Gale Speed, you can even change the ratio.
The Katana stock and this Kawasaki OEM both have a ratio of around 34\u201335 mm (I haven’t measured precisely).
A smaller ratio number makes it lighter.
However, the stroke increases, so the clutch might not fully disengage.

Making everything lighter isn’t always the answer.
Balance is important in everything.
By the way, my Inazuma 1200 runs a cable clutch with a 28 ratio.

The easiest solution is to strengthen your grip,
so buying a grip-strengthening tool might be the most economical option.
