\nIt’s the design, the manufacturing process, and of course the performance! “I want to put such awesome parts on my bike too!” I think that’s perfectly fine.
\nBut if your palate isn’t refined enough, you can’t truly savor the flavor! It’s a waste to just eat without thinking.
\nYou should run the STD hard until it’s completely worn out before replacing it. That’s what I think.
\nNow, input and output\u2014if you don’t put in solid input, your output will be weak too! I think brakes are a good example.
\nBut that doesn’t mean you should brake like a madman. Feel the stroke of the front fork and sense how the tire compresses.
\nIf you brake while feeling that, it’s fine if it takes time at first from the start of braking to full stopping. As you get used to it, you can shorten that
\nspan.
\nOnce you do that, the fork can’t output good performance in response to that input! That’s why you should set up a fork with good output.
\nThe setup changes depending on the rider, so refine your palate and become a connoisseur.
