The weekend was so busy that I decided to take it easy today and do some thinking.
\nI woke up in the early afternoon and headed to the shop… faxed some requests from the weekend…
\nI was in the mood to ride, so I took the GSF out for a leisurely cruise on the Third Keihin Road.
\nI was amazed at how well it was running!
\nI wanted to get new boots, so I headed to Nap’s! I tried on the boots I wanted to buy again on both feet to confirm the size!
\nJust as I was about to leave… I heard about an unexpected use for a Magical tank pad.
\nA customer mentioned it the other day, so I bought one right away. Around 1,800 yen\u2014very reasonable!
\nYou stick this on the seat! The seat becomes completely non-slip! That’s the idea!
\nI haven’t applied it yet, but I test-rode a bike that had it installed the other day and it was amazing! I was really impressed!!
\nI’m looking forward to the next FSW.
\nPlus, there’s a handy gadget you stick on your shield\u2014it doesn’t fog up and it also works as a smoke tint!
\nThe tagline says WSB riders use it too. Even looking at the back, it’s all in English and I can’t understand a word.
\nThere was a sample, and even when I breathed on it, it didn’t fog up, so I bought it right away.
\nSo I headed back to the shop, ready to get started… wait? Main key on! When I turned the handlebars…
\nThe light went out… huh?? The fuse didn’t blow… looking closely at the handlebar area…
\nI found a broken wire in the harness! That’s it! I connected it by hand but the light didn’t come on…
\nI ended up calling a tow truck!
\nThey loaded it up at Nap’s, and I was really embarrassed.
\nCause identified: broken wire around the handlebars \u2192 short circuit \u2192 constant 12V wire shorted \u2192 starter relay
\nfuse blew! That’s how it happened! I never knew there was a fuse in that location before.
