This project we tackled through an all-nighter!<br \/>\nThe rumored brake-pedal operation\u266a and the turn signal operation!<br \/>\nUnbelievably, all the lights won&#8217;t turn on unless you press both the front and rear brakes!<br \/>\nTo investigate the cause, we tried during a time with no phone calls or customers! We found a broken wire and performed a bypass surgery.<br \/>\nWe completed the repair successfully.<br \/>\nIn the afternoon, a Maje came in\u2014the engine suddenly died yesterday and it&#8217;s making a weird high-pitched noise&#8230;<br \/>\nIt took 30 minutes just to remove the fairings&#8230; We drained the oil, checked the spark plugs, inspected everything, but couldn&#8217;t find the cause&#8230;<br \/>\nWhen we removed the valve cover!!! Wow, the valve clearance is about 10 mm&#8230; both intake and exhaust&#8230;<br \/>\nThey&#8217;ve deteriorated so much they&#8217;re beyond adjustment, but that wasn&#8217;t the source of the noise&#8230;<br \/>\nIt cranks but something&#8217;s off? Is the cam chain tensioner not holding?<br \/>\nThe auto tensioner has gone bad&#8230; and of course the cam chain is stretched out.<br \/>\nThe cam lobes are flying all over! Oh man, this is hopeless&#8230; cause identified and we&#8217;re done!<br \/>\nSuddenly, Sero-san showed up saying the steering got stuck in the center and won&#8217;t move&#8230;<br \/>\nAfter that it was fine, he said&#8230; Hmm?????<br \/>\nWe put it inside and looked closely, really closely!!! Oh wow!<br \/>\nThere were crush marks on the frame and stopper\u2014a stone had jammed it and stopped it.
