The owner&#8217;s been dealing with trouble since purchase: the engine revs sometimes and sometimes it doesn&#8217;t. . . . We investigated various possibilities. Engine, carburetor, electrical. . . . We narrowed it down to the electrical system. . . .<br \/>\nThere are so many sensors attached. TPS, RC valve, water temperature, condenser, CDI\u2014we went through them one by one.<br \/>\nThe culprit turned out to be the RC valve not engaging when something triggered it while riding. . . . The motor was also suspicious.<br \/>\nBut in the end it was the CDI. It took a lot of time, but once fixed it ran smoothly. . . .<br \/>\nThen the nightmare returned. . . . The bike got knocked over while parked (leaning against a guardrail) and the turn signals<br \/>\nstarted acting up. When I checked it out, the front was blinking but the rear wasn&#8217;t working\u2014it just stayed lit.<br \/>\nHmm? If it were the relay, both front and rear should stop blinking at the same time\u2014or so I thought. . . .<br \/>\nEvery relay problem I&#8217;d dealt with in the past behaved that way. So I swapped out the relay and that fixed it.<br \/>\nWe finally got it done after the Obon holiday.
