Insufficient light output \u2192 switched to a slightly brighter Koito bulb \u2192 then an even brighter one \u2192<br \/>\ndifferent reflector and a brighter bulb \u2192 fabricated a bracket to fit the GSF1200&#8217;s multi-reflector \u2192<br \/>\nan H4 bright bulb \u2192 and finally passed with a sketchy bulb from the tester shop\u2026<br \/>\nWhy the insufficient light output? This bike is completely stock\u2014I haven&#8217;t touched any of the electrical system.<br \/>\nIs it a manufacturer defect? But I passed inspection just fine two years ago.<br \/>\nThe big thing is that Shinagawa&#8217;s motorcycle testing facility got a new tester around last year.<br \/>\nIt must be a really high-spec tester\u2026 Every time I get an inspection, I always have the tester shop adjust it first before I go,<br \/>\nbut sometimes it still fails.
