Brake disc is slick with fork oil <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When a brake disc gets wet with oil, cleaning becomes quite a hassle.

First, wash everything on the cleaning stand and dry it.
Next, polish the outer disc with wet blasting.
Rinse the entire disc with a high-pressure washer, then dry it in an oven.

If you do this much, most of the oil should not come back out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The backing plate gets a slight, loose chamfer. It somehow feels like it returns more smoothly.
The friction material side only in the front-to-back direction. It doesn’t hinder cleaning and the rolling feels slightly smoother.
*The up-and-down direction reduces the contact surface, so it’s safer to decide based on the situation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
