It’s already dried out and crumbly with the rubber surface peeling off.
Even in this condition, it’s designed so it won’t suck in secondary air, which is nice (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Zephyr 750 is an emissions-equipped model with “secondary air and carb heater” <\/strong>
also installed, so removing the carb is surprisingly difficult. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I quickly removed it and polished it with an oil stone.
The cam chain tensioner is compact and looks cool… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kawasaki genuine parts supply stability is incredible <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The compatibility of Kawasaki as a manufacturer is wonderful.
Thanks to that compatibility, they’re able to supply parts for a long time.

And there’s also something strange happening,
even though genuine parts are available, reproductions <\/span><\/strong>exist.
Huh? Why is that… Are they anticipating discontinuation…? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An overhaul is coming up soon,
but since there’s nothing particularly wrong with it, I’ll just do a gentle cleaning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chrome top cover was wet blasted and then polished with chrome polish.

I always think about inserting it as smoothly as possible without any issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For areas where fuel hoses and such rub, “braided tubing” <\/strong>makes it functional, simple, and beautiful.
This has been the style since around 2000 and later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A customer told me about this,
and apparently Daytona has released a great filter.

There’s no reason not to use it.
I basically hate Kawasaki’s genuine air filters.
Depending on mileage and age, they can deteriorate and fall apart.
Of course, that means the engine is sucking it through the carb… <\/p>\n\n\n\n
