drawbacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-big_icon_bad\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electrolyte refilling is necessary <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrolyte mist is coming out from around the cap <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hydrogen gas is coming out from the battery breather <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corrosion around the area is unavoidable <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Battery breather hose must be kept away from open flames <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When charging, the electrolyte decreases, so remove it before charging <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The price is surprisingly expensive <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since they rust and require a lot of maintenance, honestly I don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s any merit to using them. <br>The only merit I can think of is that they might somehow recover more easily? Last longer? Or were they broken from the start? That happened often. <br>Of course you get a replacement under warranty, <strong>but &#8220;in the end the customer doesn&#8217;t want this battery anymore&#8221; <\/strong><br>There are products in this world <br>that are beyond the level of having a warranty or not. <br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the battery breaks, you won&#8217;t be able to ride anymore even if class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Battery electrolyte constantly decreases, so refilling is necessary. <br>And you can&#8217;t charge the battery or check the fluid level without removing it. <br>Furthermore, when you refill the electrolyte, the voltage drops, so charging is also needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other words, it&#8217;s a battery that requires a lot class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hydrogen gas and dilute sulfuric acid mist are slightly emitted from the battery, <br>which corrodes the surrounding area. <br><br>The battery breather hose is quite important; <br>if it gets crushed in the layout, it puts pressure on the battery <br>or the hose can come off from the pressure and damage the harness and frame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, during charging or after riding, hydrogen gas comes out from the breather hose, <br>so the battery can easily explode from sparks from a grinder. <br>It&#8217;s a battery that requires careful handling in many ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">AGM battery with the same size that can be converted to MF as-is <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.decoboco.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/IMG_5897-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9405\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can get a wonderful battery that just needs to be removed and replaced at a reasonable price. <br>The terminal width is slightly different, <br>so depending on the model, some minor modifications may be needed. <br><br>It&#8217;s a wonderful battery that eliminates all drawbacks with just a simple replacement. <br>Furthermore, ProSelect batteries use GEL electrolyte even though they&#8217;re AGM, so horizontal mounting is also possible. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No special voltage control like a regulator is needed, so it&#8217;s simple. <br>A while back I was using WESTCO batteries, <br>but the price was fairly high and the terminal shape was special, so there was something to think about, <br>but with the spread of ProSelect batteries, battery selection has become much easier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading
