Since our schedules didn’t align for a year-end party, we held a New Year party instead.
A yakitori chain that’s been popping up a lot around the Toyoko Line area

But you can make a reservation, so it’s reassuring.
And today was a surprise—all draft beer, highballs, and chu-hai were half price
The ramen was high quality too, with thin noodles—very satisfying.
The conversation got so lively that I ended up eating two ice creams.
This one’s from Hanabatake Farm or something, and they pour hot fresh caramel on it.
There’s an iPad on the wall with an app for ordering, calculating the bill, and splitting it—pretty neat.
I’m amazed by these modern systems.
Oral is riding a bicycle again, so arrival is around 3:00 AM and then 9:00 AM work? Thanks for your hard work.
