For a clean vehicle that has been carefully stored and hasn’t traveled much distance over these past 2 years,excessive full-disassembly maintenance is a mismatch both cost-wise and effort-wise.

Precisely because it hasn’t been running,“reliably refresh degraded oils and lubricants, replace dried-out grease in moving parts, and carefully verify the condition of each component for the next 2 years”. We’ve prepared a new basic package that concentrates only on truly meaningful work.

※Brake fluid replacement labor, coolant replacement labor, and short parts such as oils and greases are all included in this base fee.

Inspection Acceptance to Delivery Process

1. Confirm 2 required documents
   • Vehicle inspection certificate, Motor vehicle liability insurance certificate (current insurance you hold)
   
   
2. Reserve inspection
   Deco Inspection Reservation Form
   Be sure to provide the model number listed on your inspection certificate
   
3. Bring vehicle to our shop
   We will confirm the vehicle condition and required documents, and inform you about the completion date

Confirm required documents

Digitized vehicle inspection certificates do not display the expiration date on the certificate itself; it is recorded in the IC tag. The IC tag information can be confirmed using a smartphone or a PC with an IC card reader connected.
You can also confirm the expiration date on the “Vehicle Inspection Certificate Record” issued at the same time as the vehicle inspection certificate.

The inspection sticker on the license plate indicates the month when the inspection expires.

Registration Change and Other Fees

Applicable Jurisdiction

• Name change and ownership release (when user and owner differ due to loans, etc.) (Sodegaura number: ¥8,000 Other areas: ¥15,000)
• Structural modification (dimensions, weight, capacity, etc.) (Sodegaura number: ¥8,000 Other areas: ¥15,000)
• Modification registration (engine model change, power transmission change, etc.) (Sodegaura number: ¥40,000 Other areas: ¥50,000)

Important Notes

• Be sure to provide the model number listed on your inspection certificate when requesting
• Please have all required documents ready on your reservation date If documents are incomplete, we will charge ¥6,000 as a fee for the time required to revisit the inspection center
  • If you have lost your liability insurance certificate, you will need to request a reissue from your insurance company
  • If you have lost your tax payment certificate, you will need to request a reissue from your municipal office
    For vehicles undergoing inspection in June, we recommend paying at a convenience store or bank
    • Light vehicle tax (species classification) tax payment certificate (for renewal inspection)
      
• Additional maintenance work and parts charges will be added if needed to pass inspection
• Typically, inspection can be done starting 2 months before the expiration date
• Vehicles with non-compliant parts require separate consultation
• Vehicles with the tandem seat removed will need the tandem seat for inspection
• Vehicles subject to exhaust regulations (model numbers starting with EBL/BC, manufactured 2002 or later) require a compliant muffler
• Registration changes are accepted only for vehicles under Sodegaura and Funabashi jurisdiction
• Inspection non-compliance issues are ¥2,200 tax included per item. Example: For sound level/seating capacity/reflector, the charge would be ¥6,600
