Work continues. The Impulse cowl takes on a more aggressive look when angled slightly.
I wasn’t happy with the old clip-style fastener, so I rebuilt it from scratch. We’re making good use of the 10mm bore.
The scribe marks are pretty tight—sorry about that. I’ve fixed it with bolts to prevent any shifting.
The rear cowl was also secured with a step bolt, so I counterbored the step surface flush to keep it sitting flush.
Engine oil changed to Newtech NC50
Maintenance is nearly complete.
