I was thinking about putting on the carb and muffler… and then?

The owner providing the basic rubber parts really helps!

There’s straight and vent types… hmm…
I cleared it up by checking the parts list.

The rubber feels soft and nice. It’s an era where the air cleaner box has minimal bypass.
Venting through the duct for installation = a bit of a power play so to speak.

So then! This thin oil is 10 years old?

The amount was slightly low and the viscosity was thin.

I forgot to order the muffler joint gasket

The plan was to start the engine, synchronize it, and get it running! But…
As expected, an ordering mistake happened!

So it’s on hold for now ( ；∀；)

Is the sealed beam era coming?

Let’s use it since it would be wasteful not to!
Sealed beams are rare, almost a dead term now.

The curved glass really has a nice vintage charm to it~
The work itself is “Once you get into it, it goes pretty fast…” Actually…
