We fabricated a rear brake hose.
The principle is: longer rear suspension equals the bike leans on the side stand equals it gets heavy.
We’re going with a raise-the-base strategy for future menu offerings.
The side stand bracket was loose and rattling. Safe and lucky. Probably the first time it’s been removed.
Times like this call for a good cleaning. Someone has to do it. After 26 years, this little bit of dirt? We’re going at it hard.
Our shop doesn’t have much material in this class, so we doubled it up.
Then we spray and we’re done. The angle is much easier now.
Bolts replaced and all nuts are lock nuts. Clean and secure.
Tomorrow we’ll get the inspection done, and it should be finished by Friday.
