It was installed quite forcefully. Since we didn’t want to modify the unit itself, we went with the least troublesome approach and made this adapter. It’s a service piece, so I apologize for the rough finish.
I thought the increased stroke might cause problems, but it seems fine.
We’ll keep an eye on it for a bit.
