The counter shaft deserves careful handling. While it’s a problem if it falls off during riding, it’s also inconvenient if it won’t come off during maintenance. You need to be mindful not to damage it by forcing it too hard.
For the thread lock on the nut, you can either lightly remove it or take it off completely and use a light threadlocker instead.

The inside of the chain case and mud guard are areas you always want to wipe down after riding. It’s like having a shiny exterior but dirty underwear—even if the outside looks pristine, a dirty underside leaves a poor impression.

It’s somewhat reassuring, but I like to match the width as closely as possible.

We’ll replace the pads. There’s quite a bit of buildup and dirt, but the piston operation is in good condition.

When replacing pads, we first touch them to the rotor to check how much chamfering is needed.
If it’s not necessary, we don’t remove much. I think it’s important to adjust to the current condition.
