The engine damper was in pretty worn condition.
It’s a good idea to remove or loosen this mount and position it properly.

The M10 bolt has 11.5 mm of clearance, so it’s best to work with the play rather than against it for better results down the road.
A problem shows up when trying to remove the head cover: a head cover bolt that won’t budge at all.
Using a 1/2 wrench, I soaked it with oil and spent thirty minutes repeatedly loosening and tightening it.
Unfortunately, the bolt snapped! I removed the cover thinking the head might still have a piece stuck inside, but
there was residue deeper in.
Unfortunately, we have no choice but to remove the head.
