It’s surprisingly useful, but it’s definitely a specialized tool★
I really want to attach a polarizing filter to the EF8-15mm F4L Fisheye USM.
I’m not sure what would happen if I made an attachment ring on the front, but it looks like it might work.
But large-diameter polarizing filters cost about as much as a lens itself…
