Benefits and effects
The links and swingarm on the underside of the frame are surprisingly under-maintained★
Water intrusion causes heavy rust, and since they only operate at fixed angles,
some of the bearings & spacers develop step wear,
resulting in sluggish operation.
New bearings are packed generously with Newtech NC100 for smooth operation and
reliable lubrication throughout.
If the pivot area has excessive play, shims are used to adjust the full width, eliminating play and allowing smooth up-and-down movement.
