Years ago, when I went on a tour of Kyushu, I came across a book that Matsushima gave me at his place.
RIDERS CLUB = Kenji Matsushima
This equation got hammered into my head before I knew it.
 

 
The impact of the ridiculously oversized magazine’s photos
was close to that of a record’s large jacket cover
 

 
Surprisingly, it had a terrifying style of “zero advertisements.”
At the time (publication date: March 15, 1975), the cover price was 700 yen.
Full of impact, captured in a single moment
 

 
I still can’t quite get used to “Motorcycle Paean.”
Maybe I’ll be able to read it in another twenty years…
It’s autumn, isn’t it.
