RGV250 Gamma caliper overhaul and carburettor overhaul.
Looks like it sat for a while and got pretty crusty…
Starting with the rear caliper…
First, I soak it in hot water and detergent!
Hot spring therapy! ★ While that soaks, I’ll tear down the carburettor! !! !
Yep, that’s the ticket!
I disassemble it and soak the parts in carburettor cleaner for a bit.
Meanwhile, back to the caliper—man, it’s dirty…
Hmm! ! The master cylinder looks pretty rough too.
I did my best, but where the corrosion has progressed, stains remain. ★
The carburettor cleaning is done, and I’ll reassemble it tomorrow to finish up! !
