Today’s bike we have in the shop is a Bandit 1200 ★
We’re getting right into it with a quick and clean start.
I was thinking about working on a Z1000 MK2 or GSX1100S instead,
but we’re going with whichever is easier to work on ★
The mileage is around 20,000 kilometers…
It looks like it’s been used evenly for commuting, touring, and track riding.
My guess… no scoring!
That’s right. No scoring at all—the bearing surfaces are in excellent condition.
The cam chain slack is also good with no issues.
The valve clearances do have some variation, but adjustment is complete.
Next up is synchronization and the engine damper.
