I was out, so it ended up taking quite a while.
The meter reading showed about 24,000 kilometers, and there was some oil leaking from the head cover.
So after cleaning it up, I removed the head cover!
Hmm—no scoring! ♪

The cam chain isn’t slack either—everything looks good.
The engine damper is in great shape.
The carburetor sync is spot-on and running perfectly.
