A rare two-stroke vehicle at our shop.
It’s a Lancia 230. This is one of those people who got so into bicycles after someone said they were good that they stopped riding the motorcycle.
When they finally took it out for a spin, the starter clutch was slipping, so we replaced it.
When we opened it up, it was pitch black inside. The crankshaft oil seal has blown through and things are looking pretty bad.
We finished up today with an oil seal replacement.
We’ll take care of the rest with Deco-mainte.
