Today I casually headed over to Yokohama on a Sunday evening ★
IKEA was just a side trip, though!
So that building turned into IKEA, huh . . .
And it’s seriously huge and packed with people . . . it’s annoying.
Nothing like Hands! It’s got the crowding of Center-gai packed into a building ★
And the space is so massive you get lost . . .
They even announced over the speakers, “We’re experiencing a high number of lost children~”!
Adults get lost too!
The prices are great—and what’s good about it is “it doesn’t look cheap”
The quality isn’t amazing, but for the price it’s clearly well-presented ★
This place really opens your wallet and empties it!
I wanted lots of things, but impulse buying isn’t good, so I just grabbed a “5-lid pot lid rack”
You hang this rack on the wall and it holds 5 lids! Super convenient! Around 700 yen
After checking out the first and second floors, an hour had passed . . .
It really is huge ♪
The human drama is exhausting . . . it’s such a mixed bag.
Families with infants, families with kids, families with pets, foreigners (all kinds), couples
just flooding in everywhere
and arguing all over the place . . .
Sitting on beds saying “well, maybe like this~, or maybe like that~” and “don’t you want to see anything else?”
“Daddy, I’m tired!” or “this is cheap ★ it’s cheap” and people just buying everything
Let me be straight: don’t go to IKEA on weekends or holidays!
It’s exhausting and you won’t feel like looking around, so I recommend going on a weekday instead ♪
