A 50cc scooter with a carburettor engine that starts but won’t stay running, and the exhaust smells bad—that’s definitely a carburettor issue.
Well, if it hasn’t been run in seven months, that’s no wonder!!
Sure enough, the PJ jet was clogged, but it was so tiny that even carburettor cleaner wouldn’t dissolve it—we were stuck.
In cases like this, heat it with a flame! Just don’t overdo it!
The clogged stuff disappears! Way better than using some weird jet cleaner or whatever!
Ah, it’s running smooth now…
Three more bikes to go…engine won’t start, tire and oil and spark plug replacement and adjustment…
This is exhausting…I want to go home…
