We got started around the time the last race wrapped up.
We held a meeting at Bamiyan along Meguro Street, or rather, people just happened to be there and we were a little peckish,
so that’s how it happened.
Bamiyan? Bamian? Either way works, and it’s great because even loading up the table is cheap!!
When I count our customers who hold a Fuji license, there are about eleven or twelve of them, and almost all of them ride naked bikes
with steel frames.
Every now and then someone says something like, “Hey, I’m thinking I want a sportbike soon,” you know? ♪
No way, no way, no way—we’re going with steel! Steel, steel, iron, fe////// and that’s how it became.
We thought we’d properly systematize this and have everyone enjoy it safely while helping each other out…
But we forgot—that’s how we started!!!
Today four bikes went to Fuji for practice, I hear. Two of them did full-throttle running to break in the engines.
After running, we adjusted the valve clearance and checked the cam chain adjustment, and we were done!
The other one might need a cam swap. It’s definitely making noise.
Oh, and the ZRX fork might be pretty good! It’s got damping adjustment too.

Let’s build a GSF engine on an R base. Maybe this winter into spring—we’ll take our time with it. ♪
The goal is an engine that won’t break and will last a long time! And of course, we’ll keep it affordable. ♪
