The other day at “Daikanyama Unit,” which has become a live venue, “8 otto” is performing as a special guest.
I really, really wanted to see and hear them.
But since it’s a special appearance at an all-night event, there are lots of worries—like not knowing what time they’ll go on.
But they’re a band from Kansai, and who knows when they’ll be back? In the worst case, it could be next year…
Today we all went to a steakhouse using shareholder discount vouchers and ate for free, and we even got 5,000 yen.
What an amazing discount voucher. After eating our fill and heading home, we both flopped into bed like cats and were dozing off.
Then I glanced at the clock—0:30. Should I shower and head out?
So I went. At the entrance I asked, “Did otto already play?” and they said, “They start at 1:30.”
So I headed into the late-night venue—it was already in full club mode with thunderous DJ sounds and a crowd swaying everywhere!
I had a drink and played around with my iPod for a while.
After a bit, finally “otto” took the stage! Amazing!
As always, they’re incredible! These guys have the power to captivate everyone, even those hearing them for the first time.
They have immediate impact and lasting power. Truly incredible!
They’re leaving tomorrow, so don’t come looking for them!
