It’s getting cold again—I’m getting sick of it!
Well, today it’s another inspection. I’m not really a fan of inspection stories since they’re not that interesting…
So it’s the Z1R. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a two-valve like this! ♪
I really like this kind of air-cooled engine! The engine’s heavy, but the chassis is light, so the weight comes in under 200 kilos real quick.
So off we went to the inspection station… it’s packed again—both the roads and the inspection station!
I think it’s wonderful that user inspections have been increasing lately.
These days there’s this thing called “pre-inspection,” so you can do the maintenance check afterward too. ♪
But this 24-month inspection is kind of vague, and if you’re someone who does maintenance regularly, you end up thinking, “Do I really have to maintain it again?”
If you’re managing things well on your own, you don’t need it.
But if you’re riding it all the time and just cutting corners to get it registered, well, I’m not sure about that.
You often hear users talking about what passes and what doesn’t, and I’m not sure about that either.
It’s fine to talk about your own experience passing, but when people say things like “XX will pass!” or “This will pass!” they’re misleading others.
There’s a lot of that kind of talk, and I’m not trying to argue about it, but I want people to keep in mind that it just happened to pass by luck.
That’s what I’d like people to remember.
After all, the inspection officers are only human, so when they’re tired or busy, they can be pretty loose about things.
Now, changing the subject—I got volume 37 of Tenhou today! ♪
