Well, our outdoor two-tub washing machine has finally evolved into a fully automatic one!
I mean, having to make at least three round trips just to do laundry was such a drag~
Time to buy! White goods!
I made several trips to the electronics store♪ I’ve been mulling it over since July~
And there are so many options to choose from . . .
Should it be National? A drum type? No wait—that looks nice—pretty cool.
So I was browsing drum models . . . they’re not cheap at all!
I can’t afford to make a mistake here.
I took a certain dignitary along and went back to Kojima Electronics.
I chose the washing machine while listening to his lecture on home appliance sales experience . . .
Toshiba AW-80DC! Eight kilograms!
Now I can load it up aggressively and it won’t stop—I’m thrilled.
Disposing of the old washing machine costs money too . . .
And when I checked Toshiba’s website just now . . . wait, wait, wait—they’ve got a new model this month!
Well, never mind!
Since we’re installing it indoors and there’s no water line there, I had to open up the bathroom drain line (the blind cap) so I could connect it.
I found the water meter and closed the valve. Then I removed the blind cap and replaced it with the fully automatic washing machine faucet I bought.
And opened it up! I extended the drain hose too and it worked great!
So right away . . .
Wow—it’s so quiet~ and the spin cycle finishes in just one go . . .
That’s amazing, though I guess it’s supposed to be! The fact that I’ve cut down the time I spend on laundry in my life is incredibly wonderful!
