This is a GS steering stem bearing replacement.
Shoji brought it in saying something felt off, and when I took it for a test ride—
Wow, it’s heavy! It’s interfering with self-steering.
It doesn’t lock up hard in the center or anything, but the grease dries out over time.
Suzuki bearings in this area have cross-compatibility, so we’re installing retainer balls in this one too.
We knew the bearing would fit, but I didn’t expect the top seal to work too…
Impressive! (The OEM one is plastic)
