When you press the rear brake, it feels kind of stiff.
At a red light, when you push the bike forward and backward, it won’t move.
I forcefully pull the pedal back to release it.
It’s gotta be the caliper and master cylinder.
Anyway, time to take it apart and check. Looks like the brake fluid turned into a gel and locked up. ★
The rear caliper seal is borrowed from an R1000, so we made do somehow.
The master cylinder isn’t 14φ, so we’ll just clean it and call it good. ★
We replaced the hose with a new one.
All fixed. Even with indoor storage when you’re not riding, this kind of thing happens—it’s annoying.
And now the bleeder nipple is stripped too—ugh!
