I’ve had a question on my mind for a while. When regular customers see a bike they haven’t seen before…
They ask, “Whose bike is that?”
I’ve thought that question was wrong for a long time, and now I’m certain of it.
It’s wrong! Hey!
Lately, because it’s a hassle, I either ignore it or just say it belongs to so-and-so and mention the owner’s name.
Of course, they wouldn’t know anyway.
The correct way to ask would be, “Is the owner of this bike someone I know?” I think.
You might think I’m the type who nitpicks over every little detail, but that’s how it should be.
