These are the things I picked up the other day when I went to IKEA.

Since I had yesterday off, I got right to repotting first thing in the morning.
Plants grow vigorously this time of year, so I keep pruning away the ugly leaves…
As expected from an amateur★, I ended up cutting off almost everything and now my Monstera looks pretty sparse.
I tell myself, “It’ll grow back! It’ll grow back!” to feel better.
Anything over 150 cm needs a fairly large pot.
I figured a lightweight plastic pot was the way to go, so I went with something chemical-based, but it just didn’t feel right!
But with this mover, I can slide even the heaviest pots and plants around with ease—it’s wonderful.
The new Alocasia odora is over 200 cm tall… I’m waiting on the balcony hoping its leaf will break and bend forward soon.
It’s on standby there.
Meanwhile, new leaves keep coming out, so the waiting list keeps growing.
Plants are really active this time of year—it’s the most fun season.
Once November rolls around, their activity slows down, so I want them to refresh themselves as much as possible now!
