Today I managed to get home quickly,
and I got dinner and tomorrow’s lunch prep all done!
There was a delivery notice from Japan Post in my mailbox
They’re holding it until the 18th
So anyway,
I took my recent ride, a Trek Foil 77, out for a night ride
It’s got a carbon frame, of course!
The shape is a bit odd and the color is gold,
so I get a lot of people asking if it’s expensive—”No way, no way, no way”—kind of conversations.
But it’s not that pricey. The list price is crazy high, of course! Back in 1998, a complete bike probably went for around 565,000 yen.
I’ll leave the actual price to your imagination.
So anyway, I cruised the route: Nakameguro → Ebisu → post office → Decoboco → Nakameguro.
Ebisu was lively on a Saturday night, everyone having a good time.
Rue Favart was lively too! All three floors were packed, they said.
Anyway, I want to fine-tune the final drive a bit more, so I’ll calculate the ratio properly and place an order.
The pads aren’t carbon-specific, so it’s pretty dangerous—I need to order those too.
As the outside temperature rose, I got bitten by a mosquito for the first time this year.
