The engine damper comes right off.
It’s wearing evenly all around, which is good.
If you mark the direction when removing it, whether at the top or front,
it’s easier to see which direction is wearing.
Next is the alternator damper.
This is a new menu item we added this time—it’s become hard and plastic-like.
It has no elasticity.
When the center nut loosens, the damper gets banged up and the engine gets noisy again.
Nobody looks at this spot and it’s a hassle, so we decided to add it to the menu to handle it all at once ★
Of course, we replace the cam and rocker arm area and check the valve clearance and dampers,
so things have become much more stable.
