With all this rain and Golden Week giving us a break, I’m not sure if that’s why
the low pressure system is making me sleepy
but anyway, I’m just really tired.
So

front bearing. ★ You’re right—when the diameter is bigger, it’s tougher. There’s a little play in it, but
after 120,000 kilometers, this is what we get. Don’t cheap out! Replacing it makes the rotation so much smoother!

The rear bearing still has plenty of grease left. ★ As the model year gets newer, these details just keep getting better and better.
The grease color is still nice and clean.

By the way, I took the seal off one of our old stock bearings to show you.
This is what a new one looks like inside. Since it spins, you can’t just cram grease in there—it needs to be just the right amount.

So why do I ask you to clean your bike before bringing it in?
It’s because I clean the spots you can’t reach yourself, so you should handle the ones you can!
A clean fender underside just feels great, you know?
Woohoo!
