We clean up the levers and shafts and apply oil.
The sleeve and handlebar are grease-free, and the inside of the sleeve gets a dry oil treatment.
This is an unusual bike where you have to remove this much just to get to the shift linkage.
Once we clean it up and oil it, the action should improve ★
Let’s freshen up the side stand too while we’re at it.
This area too! If we oil the pins on the top and bottom of the spring mount,
the side stand pops right out and feels great ★
