Now we have the VFR from the Everyday bike.
Lately there’s been this creaking noise that comes and goes.
It’s been bothering the owner something fierce.
Since the pro-arm has never been removed before,
I took the job partly to have a look at it myself.
It comes off surprisingly easily!
But the manual says you have to disassemble the hub part first.
For the first time ever, it’s surprisingly clean.
Oh my!
It’s dirty, but that oil residue is a huge help.
That’s Honda engineering for you, I guess.
There’s a damper in a place like this.
Interesting design, really.
It turned out to be surprisingly tedious and exhausting.
