It’s 2012! Congratulations! ★
This year’s battles have begun!
Looking back at 2011, so much really happened.
Since 2011 was my zodiac year (Year of the Rabbit), I approached everything with a forced positive spirit
and I think we made various strides forward.
Thinking back…
* The shop vehicle changed
Though it was a short time, from 2009/11/26 to 2011/5/16, it worked hard for us!

And here’s the successor, the “Super X” ★ From 2011/5/16 onward
With an automatic transmission and the ability to carry two bikes, everything worked out perfectly.
We really started being able to take bikes to inspection all at once, and it’s been incredibly useful.
The time we can spend working at the shop has really increased!
* Relocated from Himonjiya to Kakinokizaka

to Kakinokizaka…
We gave notice to terminate the lease without having decided on a new location, and then started searching for a shop…
With the Great East Japan Earthquake on 3/11 and our renewal timing this year, it was a flash of inspiration…
Jeez, we just couldn’t find anything! ★
Even when we did find places, we’d get rejected (for business type reasons and such)
I was panicking!
With a deadline set
I racked my brains and fought back with backup plans, letters, and gifts of candy
Wishing “I don’t want to leave Meguro Ward!” as a rabbit, wishes come true
But once we found a place, we still had to build out the shop!
We had to move and demolish the old one!
I entrusted everything to the Kuri K brothers and Suzuki K, and they finished it in about three weeks ★
The handover of Himonjiya was until 6/30
Kakinokizaka contract started 6/1
I’m truly ultra-grateful!
And then…
Since the shop was smaller, I wasn’t sure if all our stuff would fit
I was worried, worried, and worried
K helped me verify with floor plans
and we confirmed everything would fit… I’m super grateful!
For the move, Ito from the machinery and tools shop made many round trips
We made 11 round trips in the Town Ace!
Old shop: changed and terminated various contracts
New shop: changed various contracts and set up new ones
Since we’d been running Himonjiya for nine years
we carefully reviewed fixed costs and managed to cut quite a bit.
Looking back now, we really pulled it off!
With the cooperation of so many people
I’m truly grateful that we’ve created such a wonderful shop.
Honestly, I don’t want to relocate again.
This year I’d like to take care of some personal things, so I’m aiming for a moderate workload ★
That’s what I’m thinking.
We’re truly blessed with understanding customers.
So, looking back at 2011
and setting goals for 2012…
I’d like to steadily work toward having two days off per week.
Well then!
