We can’t do engine work here, so sorry about that ★
If you remove them, worm damage means all sixteen bolts are shot ★
In severe cases, it’s actually cheaper to buy a new head.
Valve lapping (if reusing)
• Seat cutting
• Valve protrusion matching and lapping
• Guide replacement
and so on…
none of that either, so we just clean it up, set the head back on, and crank it down with a torque wrench
Getting the bolt tension right is honestly something I always find really tricky.
